Why Apple won’t add Google View to iPod Touch
When Apple released the new iPhone firmware 2.2, which could be downloaded at the iPod Blog website, they also released and firmware 2.2 update for the iPod Touch. Unfortunately, the update for the iPod Touch totally differs from that of the Apple iPhone. The reason behind this move from Apple is because the iPod Touch is suppose to be the phoneless iPhone. Google Street View would be a great feature to have if you could use your iPod Touch wherever you go. But with the iPod Touch lacking 3G capabilities, there seems to be no point in havin Google Street View.
