Football, or soccer, is a huge sport in the UK but although the Premiership gets the most attention from the media there is another branch of the sport called Nonleague football which is often off the radar to many supporters both at home and abroad. Nonleague football clubs range in size and stature from fallen giants to traditionally famous clubs to outfits playing on local park pitches. Nonleague football offers a much more enjoyable experience for the supporter in that they can stand or sit where they like in the ground, cost of entry and catering is very reasonable and the whole matchday experience much more relaxed. There are many famous clubs and players sprinkled throughout Nonleague football history and they have done much to ensure that the game below the Premiership and Football League is so strong.
