I went to college and joined a sorority with mostly girls from New York City. Our college, however, is in upstate New York. Every year the school and the sorority get together and have a camping trip to benefit the National Kidney Foundation. Being from upstate New York, camping was no big deal, but the girls from the city were appalled at the idea of sleeping in a tent, cooking over a fire and being outside overnight. It was entertaining to watch them attempt to adapt the the camping adventure but I was really proud that they toughed it out for the sake of the foundation.
